Newborn Session
Signed Contract and $100 Retainer Fee required to reserve a date

Newborn sessions are scheduled to take place within the first three weeks after birth. I have a collection of props (hats, headbands, blankets, baskets etc.) available to stylize your shoot. The baby is in charge here, so we'll take all the breaks needed to feed, change, and soothe your little one. Please plan for a 2-3 hour session.
Your online proof gallery will be sent to you within two weeks of your session. I will then hand edit in detail the images you choose to include in your package.
Portraits (one child, $25 for second person)

I love taking candid as well as posed shots. I won't quit until I get that natural smile :). For children I like to have an activity planned so when you contact me we can talk a little bit about their personalities and plan something fun!

This is such a fun shoot to celebrate your little one's 1st Birthday! It includes 2 backdrops in 2-3 set ups.
Portraits with one or two props,
The actual *cake smash with a customized background of your choice,
And... the bubble bath if you wish to add it! ($30)

Preparing for your Session
Pick a couple of neutral colors and add accent colors to coordinate your outfits. Picking out one outfit from your closet and using it as a guideline for the rest, is the easiest way. Click on the "What to Wear" button above, to view my Pinterest board for some inspiration!
Don't be afraid to mix and match :).
I prefer solid colors, however patterns are ok, as long as they are not too distracting.
Avoid clothing with logos & lettering. They tend to age the photos.
Feel free to add layers, scarfs, jewelry and accessories (necklaces, headbands for little girls etc..). They add depth and detail to your pictures.
Also, shoes and socks matter! And they will show, -this is for the boys :).
Finally, make sure you all match the style of the session (casual or more dressy). Running shoes don't pair nicely with pretty sandals or cute fall boots :). Long pants for the guys, and shirts that will cover your arms for the ladies are the most flattering in any style.
FAQ
-Do you offer Extended Family Sessions?
Unfortunately I do not at this time. I work without an assistant for now, maybe that will change in the future and I’ll be able to expand my session types!
-I only want a couple of images. Can I book just a Mini Session?
I only offer Christmas Mini Sessions, once a year. I advertise them in September! They are 15 minutes each, for 5 Images. These are booked back to back with enough time in between for sanitizing props. If there are more than 5 inquiries for another type of mini, I would be glad to set that up!
-Do you photograph events?
Not events or weddings. I only specialize in newborn, children and family photography.
-Are you insured? How long have you been in business?
Yes! I am fully insured. I’ve been legally in business for about 6 years.
-Have you had any newborn training?
Absolutely! I have taken multiple workshops in newborn training and posing. I take newborn safety very seriously so you can rest assured that your baby is in good hands.
